Whether you need a quiet moment to rest, something to eat, or simply a comfortable place to recharge, the Family Room provides a little respite during a hospital stay—all while keeping you just steps from your child’s bedside.

Families have access to comfortable shared spaces designed to provide a break from the hospital environment—including a welcoming living area, kitchenette stocked with snacks and grab-and-go meals, children’s play area, laundry facilities, computer and printer access, and other everyday essentials.
Here, parents and caregivers can grab something to eat, settle into a comfortable chair, do a load of laundry, let kids play or simply find a quiet place to rest and regroup.
The Ronald McDonald House Family Room offers families a place to take care of some of the everyday things that don’t stop during a hospital stay—without having to leave Children’s Hospital Colorado, Golisano Children’s Hospital, Colorado Springs or go far from their child.
