A Partnership That Helped Start It All
The connection between McDonald’s and Ronald McDonald House goes back to the very beginning. When the first Ronald McDonald House opened in 1974, McDonald’s franchisees, employees, suppliers and customers were among those who helped bring the mission to life.
Today, McDonald’s remains Ronald McDonald House’s Founding and Forever Partner, supporting families through donations, volunteerism, fundraising and advocacy around the world.
Here in Southern Colorado, that partnership has been part of our story since we opened our doors in 1987.

Small change can make a big difference for families.
When you visit a participating McDonald’s, you can choose to Round Up your purchase to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to Ronald McDonald House. Those extra pennies add up, helping provide comfort, care and support for families when their children need medical care.
Here in Southern Colorado, Round Up is one more way our local McDonald’s customers help make the mission of Ronald McDonald House Southern Colorado possible—one small act of generosity at a time.
We are incredibly grateful to our Southern Colorado McDonald’s Owner/Operators and their teams for helping families stay close when their children need medical care. Your partnership and generosity make a meaningful difference for local families every day.
